Mykola Tomenko: Parliament will not permit the Reanimation of the Tender Chamber
Mykola Tomenko, the vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that the Verkhovna Rada would not agree with the adoption of the Law on tender purchase that would envisage the "reanimation of the Tender Chamber in the form of Tender Commission or so".
According to M. Tomenko today the meeting of the Coalition Council was held where the issues that the Parliament would scrutinize during next plenary week (from the 12 of May) were discussed. M. Tomenko mentioned that the main discussion was held round the adoption of the Bills prepared for the second reading concerning tender purchase and gambling business.
"I am convinced that the Parliament would not permit the adoption of the Bill that reanimates the Tender Chamber in any form", - M. Tomenko announced.
Moreover, the issues on the preparedness of the Government to introduce the plan of antirecessionary Bills and Decisions was discussed.
M. Tomenko supposes that the project of the Program on Privatization would be also scrutinized during the next plenary week.
